10. What is the Sacred in a work of art?

I really look forward to this post. Sometimes I feel the making of the art is the Sacred connection.

Hi Kristen,

I'm so glad you put out in green and white your intentions to work with sacred space and sacred art. Those intentions underpin my work and I'm happy to meet you through the blogosphere. What would I like to hear about? Same as Dennis, #10--and #11.

I think Rober Genn has blogged about the Sacred in Art or references to that. This might be a way to make some really hot links. Love the topic.

Hi Kristen!
Right now, I'm all about #3-Pros and cons of having many interests. I just can't focus on 1 or 2 or even 3 creative projects, which is why I don't have a career in anything other than being an administrative assistant. waaah!

I'm also interested in: 10-What is the Sacred in a work of art?, 11-Why work with churches?, and 13-Why show in local cafes?

Also the questions about the evolving life of a work of art, and what our (ideal) studios are like. :)

I'm looking forward to conversations about all these things too. I hope to get into a regular ritual of writing for this blog.
